scratchPic ("we", "the game") operates the website scratchpic.com, a free real-time multiplayer .io game. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the third‑party services involved. By playing, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Nickname — the display name you type before playing. It is shown to other players during a match. Don't enter real personal information as a nickname.
- Photos you upload — images you choose to paint the map with. Each photo is checked once by an automated content‑moderation service at upload, stored on our image CDN, and shown to other players during the game. Uploaded photos are automatically deleted after a limited retention period (TTL). Do not upload private, sensitive, or copyrighted images, and do not upload photos of other people (friends, classmates, teachers) without their consent — other players can report such photos in‑game and they will be removed.
- Language preference — stored locally in your browser (localStorage) so the game remembers your language. It is not sent to us.
- Gameplay data — transient in‑game state such as position, territory percentage, and round results, kept only while the game is running.
- Technical data — standard server logs (e.g. IP address, browser type, timestamps) used for operation, security, and abuse prevention.
We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or password to play.
2. How we use information
- To run the multiplayer game and display your nickname and photo to other players.
- To moderate uploaded photos and keep the game safe.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service, and to show ads (see below).
3. Advertising & cookies
We use Google AdSense (H5 Games Ads) to show ads between rounds. Third‑party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

- Users in the EEA/UK/Switzerland are shown a consent choice for personalized ads where required.
4. Third‑party services
- Google AdSense — advertising.
- Cloudflare — content delivery and image hosting (CDN).
- Automated image moderation (OpenAI moderation API) — one‑time automated check of uploaded photos, plus re‑checks when a photo is reported by players.
Each service processes data under its own privacy policy.
5. Data retention, reporting & photo removal
Uploaded photos are deleted automatically after their retention period. Nicknames and gameplay state are transient and are not kept after a session ends, aside from standard server logs held for a limited time.
Any player can report a photo in‑game (🚩 button) as inappropriate or as someone else's photo / bullying. A reported photo disappears from the reporter's screen immediately; photos that are flagged by re‑moderation or reported by multiple players are removed for everyone. Removed photos are moved to a restricted quarantine area — kept briefly only for abuse review and false‑report recovery — and then deleted.
6. Children's privacy
scratchPic is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country — in South Korea, users under 14 should play with a parent or legal guardian's consent). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children: the game has no accounts, no chat, and no sign‑up, nicknames should not contain real names, and uploaded photos are deleted automatically after a limited period. Children should not upload photos of themselves or others. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us personal information (e.g. uploaded a photo of a person), contact us and we will delete it promptly.
7. Your choices
You can clear localStorage in your browser at any time, opt out of personalized ads via the link above, and request deletion of an uploaded photo by contacting us.

We may update this policy. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.

모든 플레이어는 게임 안에서 사진을 신고(🚩 버튼)할 수 있습니다 — 사유는 "부적절한 사진" 또는 "타인 사진·괴롭힘"입니다. 신고한 사진은 신고자의 화면에서 즉시 사라지며, 재검열에 걸리거나 여러 명이 신고한 사진은 모두에게서 제거됩니다. 제거된 사진은 오신고 복구·악용 검토 목적으로만 접근이 차단된 격리 공간에 잠시 보관된 뒤 삭제됩니다.
6. 아동의 개인정보
scratchPic은 만 13세(또는 거주 국가의 최소 연령) 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 대한민국의 만 14세 미만 이용자는 법정대리인(보호자)의 동의를 받아 이용해야 합니다. 본 게임은 아동의 개인정보를 고의로 수집하지 않습니다 — 계정·채팅·회원가입이 없고, 닉네임에 실명을 쓰지 않아야 하며, 업로드된 사진은 일정 기간 후 자동 삭제됩니다. 아동은 자신이나 다른 사람의 얼굴이 나온 사진을 올리지 않아야 합니다. 보호자께서 아동이 개인정보(예: 인물 사진)를 제공했다고 판단하시면 연락 주세요 — 즉시 삭제하겠습니다.
7. 이용자의 선택
